Military dinner – RMA Sandhurst

We are pleased to offer a special event at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst remembering 10-years since British combat troops left Afghanistan.

The dinner offers a unique experience located within the prestigious Indian Army Memorial Room, overlooking RMA Sandhurst’s stunning grounds and promises to be an afternoon filled with laughter, camaraderie and delicious food.

Please note: This event is free to registered Members. 

Guided Tour: A guided tour will be provided by the Sandhurst Trust to all attendees from 1pm to 1:30pm. This will detail RMA Sandhurst's prestigious history and use.

Access into Sandhurst: This will be granted via Main Gate, located on the A30, opposite Camberley Premier Inn, GU15 3LP.

Ballot tickets

Due to the expected high level of interest for this event, Members expressing their interest to attend will be chosen via a random ballot. 

We will let you know if you've been successful via email, letter or phone call by Friday, 25 October 2024. (Please note, letters may take slightly longer).

Cancelations: Any cancelations to be submitted by Friday, 22 November 2024.

Our military dinners around the country take place at venues chosen to minimise travel time and costs for Members. For this reason, no accommodation and transport will be provided by Blind Veterans UK.

All Members are welcome to bring one guest/carer.

Non-British nationality

If any of your party are not British citizens, a member of our team will be in touch with the required additional security forms for entry to the military base once registered.

Dress code

Males: Dinner suit with mounted miniature medals. Headdress may be worn outside the venue. Additional badges such as military memorabilia may be worn, though must uphold Blind Veterans UK standards and ethos.

Females: Knee-length dress or equivalent, covering shoulders. Mounted miniature medals. Headdress maybe worn outside of venue. Additional badges such as military memorabilia may be worn, though must uphold Blind Veterans UK standards and ethos.

Please bring any of the following:

• UK Driving licence
• UK Bus Pass
• UK Disability Badges or equivalent
