Short story competition now open
Calibre Audio has relaunched its Inclusive Voices short story competition, celebrating audio, braille, and community.
Whether you're a regular writer or just beginning to explore storytelling, this is your chance to write a story that reflects your experience, imagination, and connection to themes like audio, braille, and community.

Submission details
- Format: Written, video or audio entries are accepted
- Word limit: 550 words max
- Theme: Audio, Braille, or Community (or all three!)
Prizes in each category
- First Place: Amazon Echo Dot
- Second Place: £20 book voucher
- Third Place: Calibre Audio merchandise
Entries will be assessed based on originality, creativity, use of theme, and authentic representation. Winners will be announced end of October 2025.
