Standard dedication in Rugby
Blind Veterans UK recently held a dedication service at St Andrews Church, Rugby, of a new Blind Veterans UK standard for use in the Northern province.
Blind Veterans UK Standard Bearer, Member Wayne Perry, from Rugby, carried the Standard. Wayne has recently received help from the charity to become trained as a Standard Bearer.
Our Chairman, Barry Coupe, attended and addressed the congregation, which included Blind Veterans UK staff. There was a good turnout and many Members attended too. Everyone went on to enjoy light refreshments following the service.
